Basic Controls
Basic Combos
Low Combo (5-8 hits)
Light -> Light -> Heavy. Simple and reliable. On-beat hits deal +50% damage.
Mid Combo (10-15 hits)
Light -> Light -> Light -> Heavy. Longer stagger window, best used when enemies are already hit.
Beat Rave (20+ hits)
Light -> Light -> Heavy -> Beat Sync (on beat) -> Heavy. The signature combo. Beat Sync mid-combo fills the Beat Gauge and triggers a visual spectacle. When full, the follow-up heavy becomes a Beat Finisher with screen-wide damage.
Beat Sync Abilities
When the Beat Gauge is full (100%), Beat Sync transforms into a Beat Finisher:
- Beat Rave — Rapid strikes in all directions for 3 seconds
- Encore Blast — Shockwave that knocks all nearby enemies down
- Death Drop — Heavy diving attack dealing 3x on-beat damage
Grab & Throw
Press Special/Grab near an enemy to grab. Throw into other enemies for crowd control, or slam for bonus damage. On-beat grabs deal double damage.
Revenge Mode
When health is critically low, the Revenge Gauge fills. Activating Revenge Mode lasts 8 seconds and grants: +50% damage, all hits auto-synced to beat regardless of timing, and a pink glow visual effect on Charlie's outline.
